My husband, Pete, is a participant in a fund raiser for the Jack and Jill Late Stage Cancer Foundation. As the only organization of its kind in the nation, the Atlanta-based Jack and Jill Foundation provides memory opportunities for children who have a mom or dad with late stage, limited life expectancy cancer. Thousands of moms and dads in their 20s, 30s and 40s with late stage cancer will die each year. These parents are leaving behind greiving children.

When a person is diagnosed with late-stage, incurable cancer, they immediately think of their children. They realize the many future memories that they will not create with their children - the birthday parties, the first crush, learning to drive, going out to the ball park, graduations, weddings & grandchildren etc.. This is the most anguishing & distressing facet of late stage cancer, its impact on the children left behind by a parent who dies.

Jack and Jill offers qaualifiying families a chance to make memories together - a "WOW! Experience" which is a unique getaway that allows the family to enjoy time with each other. Jack and Jill has sent families all over the nation and beyond to resorts, big cities, concerts, award shows, ball games, cruises, VIP tours, meet and greets, etc.

Pete is participating in a golf marathan to raise money for this special Foundation for families affected by cancer. We are looking for sponsors to make financial donations and we are not yet close to our goals. Donations can be a dollar amount per golf hole that Pete plays - or just a flat donation.
